I know boys aren’t always thrilled about getting their senior photos done.\u00a0\u00a0 Most of the time they say they are doing it for their moms.\u00a0 But once we get going, it’s not so bad.\u00a0 And once we’re done, I’ve actually had lots of the senior boys tell me they even had fun.\u00a0 Imagine that?\u00a0 LOL.\u00a0 Your senior portrait session doesn’t have to be torture.\u00a0 Its kind of a right of passage, a part of the whole senior year experience, and it should be kind of\u00a0 fun – even for the boys.\u00a0 So pack up a couple shirts, pairs of jeans, maybe a tie, some of sports or music stuff and an open mind.<\/p>\n

Andy and Nathan both wanted just an easy fast session, with a couple outdoor locations and some classic studio shots.\u00a0 Great!\u00a0 Dillon and\u00a0 Lane wanted something a little different from the norm and brought along their guitars and drums and we had some fun.\u00a0\u00a0 We were able to do get the classic senior portrait for the wall that mom wants and some creative, stylized photos that the boys wanted.\u00a0 \"\"Dillon really wanted to try something different so we used the little light thingy (sorry, don’t know the real name) he brought along and used some specialty manual camera techniques to create a little photographic senior picture magic.\u00a0 Never be afraid to talk with your senior photographer about your ideas!\u00a0 You never know what you may come up with together!\u00a0 It might not be the “big one” that will hang on the wall for years to come, but it will be one you will remember and bring back the memories of your senior year.\u00a0 And that’s what it’s all about.<\/p>\n
