I think it was around 8 degrees but thankfully the wind wasn&#8217;t blowing too badly. We worked quickly and got some really pretty shots of her skating.  I have always loved to watch figure skating and have admired the combination of beauty and athleticism.  But I can&#8217;t skate myself.  I had a hard enough time just walking across the icy parking lot to the rink.  I did try skating once and quickly learned just how difficult it is &#8211; as I clung the wall and curled my toes into the souls of the skates trying to grip the ice.  <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">LOL<\/span>.  Brandi just moved so effortlessly and beautifully on the ice, even when I knew she must have been freezing!    <\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>It was a treat to do something totally new for me and to try to capture her spirit as she skated. I really do love it when seniors share their ideas and their passion.
